The core area of Beijing's CBD is a rapidly expanding collection of China's most prominent Headquarter towers. Each of these HQs compete to impress with height, shape and materialization, resulting in an eclectic collection of buildings. The new headquarter, with a limited height of 70 meters, is significantly shorter than its neighbors. A sequence of special programs: a trading hall, listing hall, media studio, boardroom, and meeting center are strategically distributed throughout the mass, embedded in large office plates that efficiently fill out the footprint of the site. Like the parts of an intricate mechanism, they collide in the center of the building with the cores, light shaft and public loop. The sum of which reveals the precise operation of the corporation. A machine that both lubricates the operation and showcases the vibrancy of the organization right in the heart of Beijing's CBD.
